Welcome to the Senior Scope website!

Senior Scope is looking forward to celebrating its 2nd Birthday July 1st, 2004!

Be sure to help us celebrate by entering our contest for more valuable prizes! Last year we gave away over $350.00 in prizes.

The amount of work it takes to produce this small, but powerful, publication is overwhelming. Our endless quest for spotlights, prizes, and stories has proved to be challenging, not to mention the countless hours dedicated to organizing, attending events, graphics, website updates, endless papework, etc. And don't forget about those dedicated

souls who delivered "The Scope" and submitted articles, and others who contributed to the production week after week. Much thanks to all of them!

It all has been worth having the opportunity to meet such wonderful people and to instill a little inspiration and happiness in our readers.

Please send in your comments so that we can provide the publication that you want to read issue after issue.

Thank you for reading and enjoying Senior Scope.

The purpose of Senior Scope is to encourage everyone to participate in making this a senior-oriented and senior-friendly society and to serve as a source of inspiration.

We'll do our part by highlighting the programs, services and savings available to seniors and seeking out individuals who we feel can motivate and inspire others.

If you invite us to a function or event, we'll do our best to attend and participate.

We strive to make Senior Scope available to as many as possible in Winnipeg and the surrounding areas. Our hope is that our website will help achieve this goal.

Note that Senior Scope is not just for seniors. All age groups can learn and benefit from the knowledge and experience of our older generation. I think it is important for youth to realize how quickly things change and evolve, and how our actions today can affect us tomorrow.

By reading our senior spotlight section, see if you can see a common denominator between those we highlight. You might be surprised at what you observe.

We all can learn from seniors.

Thank you for reading Senior Scope!
